Scholarships and Average Students

Do you think that scholarships are available only for excellent students who get only A grades. In certain degree it is true, because those who give scholarships want to see in applicants traits, which justify the giving of scholarship to this or that student. In order to get scholarship it is necessary to deserve it. One of the most popular ways to deserve for scholarships is to study well and get high grades.
But not all students are able to study on such high level and get A grades. The majority of students get B and C grades. It doesn’t mean that they are stupid; they are just people who are ready to pay their attention and dedicate the time not only to studies but also to other things, which exist in out life. Such students like to participate in social life of the school, practice some sports activity, or be a member of drama society or society of painters. So, do these students have the chance to get scholarships?
Yes, these students with average academic progress also have many chances to get scholarships. But it doesn’t mean that it is not necessary to do anything. If you can’t boast of high grades, you have to attract scholarship sponsors by other traits, which can persuade them that you deserve scholarship. It can be achieved by means of taking active part in community service, extracurricular activities, and other non-academic spheres.
